Essential Strategies for Doing Business in China

David Carley moved to the Nashville area from Central Illinois in 2009.  He made his first business trip to China in 1999 and since then has made the long journey over 70 times working on product development projects for the radio-control hobby industry.  Over the past 20 years, he’s been able to development numerous long-term friendships and partnerships within the industry and his high level of Cultural Intelligence has been identified by others consistently. Just over 2 years ago, David started China Hobby Support, and now works with a team of resources that connect hobby factories in China to US companies and provide any and all services needed to bring new products to the western market.

David earned his Masters of Organizational Leadership degree from Williamson College earlier this year and is looking forward to connecting his cross-cultural experience to his education to help others better understand cultural differences and develop successful partnerships.  David has been married to his high school sweetheart, Becky, for 36 years. They have 3 married daughters and 5 beautiful grandchildren.
